To promote awareness and understanding of nature and conservation by encouraging the study, research, and appreciation of natural resources and diverse environmental issues among the general public.
To foster collaboration between various disciplines of science and technology related to the environment, and to promote a scientific temper through academic programs.
To establish and maintain liaison with State and Union Government departments, as well as national, regional, and international organizations, wherever such relationships support the objectives of the Society.
To provide expert advice to government bodies and other organizations on matters related to environmental protection and natural resource management, in the interest of public welfare.
To organize and support education and awareness initiatives, including:
Conferences, seminars, workshops, symposia, and public forum discussions
Environmental education and outreach campaigns
Training programs, demonstrations, and mass mobilization events
Cultural activities aimed at raising environmental consciousness
To undertake and promote research, study, and documentation on diverse environmental issues, including sustainable development, climate change, biodiversity, pollution, and resource management.
To publish and disseminate knowledge, including:
Books, journals, newsletters, bulletins, proceedings, and educational materials
Information on various aspects of the environment and natural resources for public and academic use
To adopt transparent strategies and practices that advance the Society’s mission and support its overall objectives.
To develop and promote environmental education, including:
Framing co-curricular content
Organizing courses in environmental sciences at all levels of education
To provide consultancy services for projects and initiatives related to natural resources, environmental sustainability, and conservation.
To undertake Clean and Green Campaigns and other grassroots environmental initiatives to encourage civic responsibility and promote eco-friendly practices.
To do all such necessary, incidental, or constructive acts that align with and support the attainment of any or all of the objectives outlined above.
